Applicants must hold one of the following degrees (or an equivalent qualification), obtained under Italian Ministerial Decree (DM) 270/2004, DM 509/1999, previous regulations, or an equivalent foreign qualification:
- Single-cycle Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (Class LM-41 or 46/S);
- Single-cycle Master's Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics (Class LM-46 or 52/S).
Students who hold citizenship other than Italian must provide a certificate proving Italian language proficiency at B2 level or demonstrate the same level of proficiency in a preliminary interview prior to admission.

Admission is based on the evaluation of academic qualifications and, if necessary, an oral interview (only if the number of applications exceeds the maximum number of available places).

Dentist with advanced expertise in Pediatric Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry

Upon completion of the program, participants will have acquired:
• Advanced knowledge of pediatric psychology and behavioral management techniques for children and adolescents.
• Knowledge and practical skills in pediatric sedation techniques and pain management.
• Theoretical knowledge and clinical competence in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental caries in pediatric patients.
• Theoretical and practical expertise in the early diagnosis and management of the most common enamel defects in children.
• Knowledge and clinical skills for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric endodontic conditions.
• Comprehensive understanding of oral functions and competence in diagnosing stomatognathic dysfunctions, craniofacial anomalies, and malocclusions in growing patients.
• Theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in planning and performing different orthodontic treatment modalities for pediatric patients.
• Understanding of the principal medico-legal aspects relevant to dental treatment in children and adolescents.
