On July 22, 2024, the Department of Youth Policy and Universal Civil Service published a Call for Volunteers for the selection of young people to be employed in civil service projects in Italy as part of the "Digital Civil Service" trial. The deadline for applications from young people is given as September 26, 2024 at 2 p.m.
The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia sees funded for the first time the program "SCD - EMILIA ROMAGNA PER IL DIGITALE 2024," of which it is the lead partner, which aims to encourage, through educational actions, access to digital information and services, the solicitation of the active role of citizens, the promotion of dialogue between public and private actors in the field for the protection of citizens and support for knowledge.
Within the Program, it is possible to apply for one location of these projects:
- Digital Culture: Libraries and Educational Pathways in Emilia Romagna 2024 (24 places) - PTCSU0052724020121NMTX
- Digital Health in Emilia Romagna 2024 (11 places) - PTCSU0019824020119NMTX
- Digital Rights in Emilia Romagna 2024 (18 places) - PTCSU0020524020120NMTX
- Digital Municipalities - Forlì and Comprensorio Forlivese 2024 (15 places) - PTCSU0025024020118NMTX
The projects all have a duration of 12 months, a commitment of 25 hours per week and a monthly allowance of 507.30 euros. There is also a reservation of places for Youth with Minor Opportunities, i.e. ISEE less than 15 thousand euros, depending on the locations. Aspiring volunteer operators must submit the application exclusively through the Domanda on Line (DOL) platform accessible via PC, tablet and smartphone at this link: https://domandaonline.serviziocivile.it/. In order to access the compilation and application services on the DOL platform, one must be recognized by the system.
Italian citizens residing in Italy or abroad can access it exclusively with SPID, the Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale (Public Digital Identity System). The
Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale website (www.agid.gov.it/it/piattaforme/spid) has all the information on what SPID is, what services it offers and how to apply. On-Line Civil Service Application requires SPID credentials of security level 2. Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union and foreigners regularly residing in Italy, if they do not have the availability to acquire the SPID, will be able to access the services of the DOL platform through special credentials to be requested from the Department, according to a procedure available on the home page of the platform itself.
Specific information on how to access civil service projects (selection system) is contained within the project sheets. The selections will be made at the local offices of the selected projects on the dates that will be posted on this site at a later date.
