State Examinations
authorising professional practice

State Examinations authorising professional practice are generally speaking organised in two sittings a year. Registration with a professional order is only possible after having obtained authorisation.
Each year, State Examinations are decreed by Order of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MEUR), published in the Republic of Italy’s Official Gazette.
The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is an examination centre for the State Examinations authorising the practice of the following professions:

professions governed by the Decree no. 445 of 19th October 2001,
  • Doctor of Medicine

    • professions governed by the legislative Decree no. 139 of 28th June 2005,
  • Professional account and Account


    • professions governed by Presidential Decree no. 328 of 5th June 2001,
  • Biologist
  • Chemist
  • Engineer
  • Agronomist and Forestry Expert


    • professions governed by Presidential Decree no. 328 of 5th June 2001,
  • Pharmacist
  • Dentist
