Wireless access to the University networkIn some university areas wireless connection can be made to the University network.
UN C@PPUCCINO PER UN PC project
1 February marked the start of Un c@ppuccino per un PC, a ministerial project to favour the purchase of a portable PC by all the students enrolled in the University. This provides two types of facilitations:
E-mail serviceIn mid-March 2001, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia began providing a free e-mail service for all enrolled students in order to favour communication between students and lecturers. The e-mail box is ACTIVATED about 15 days after enrolment (when the student is given a magnetic card) and DEACTIVATED about 15 days after graduation/specialisation.

Students’ secretary’s office online counterFor interactive Students’ secretary’s office services such as pre-enrolment or to see your administrative position, the ESSE3 service is operative. This should also be used to register for exams and various other functions.

Various departments and libraries feature classrooms, workshops and computer stations for use by students for study purposes.
