Erasmus at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) is part of the LLP/Erasmus Program and in 2007 was awarded the Erasmus University Charter.
The Erasmus University Charter (EUC) provides the general framework for the European co-operation activities that a higher education institution may carry out within the Erasmus program. It is a prerequisite for sending and receiving students and teaching staff on mobility assignments, as well as for carrying out intensive programs and coordinating multilateral projects and networks.

Check with your home university whether an exchange agreement exists between your university and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
Each participating Faculty at UNIMORE has its Erasmus Coordinator who collaborates with the Student Mobility Office in order to run mobility actions for both students and staff.

Incoming Students
Every year UNIMORE welcomes over 250 students from partner institutions.
You can apply as an incoming student if your home University has an Erasmus agreement with UNIMORE in your field of study. However, you will need a nomination from your home university.
Turn to the international office and/or ERASMUS office of your University to be informed about the possibilities of studying at UNIMORE.
Before leaving, Erasmus students are provided with a "Learning Agreement" setting out the programme of studies to be followed, as approved by the student, the home and the host institution, and with the "ERASMUS Student Charter" setting out their rights and obligations with respect to their period of study abroad.
At the end of the study period the Student Mobility Office provides Erasmus students and their home institution with a transcript of records confirming that the agreed program has been completed and specifying the results obtained.
